Waitlist and priority-list records: retained while the family remains interested in placement and for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction.
Tour and placement communications: generally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction unless they form part of an active or completed business relationship requiring longer retention.
Applicant and provider inquiry records: generally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction unless a continuing employment, contractor, provider, or business relationship is established.
Business, contractual, accounting, or legally required records: retained for the period reasonably necessary to meet legal, tax, accounting, insurance, contractual, or dispute-resolution requirements.
Berry&Co does not intentionally retain medical, allergy, payment-card, exact residential-address, or background-check information through its online lead-generation and placement systems because those categories are not collected online by Berry&Co.
When information is no longer required, Berry&Co will take reasonable steps to securely delete, destroy, or anonymize it.
